My name is Bryce Montano. On September 19th, 2026 I’ll be setting out to finish my 7th 100 mile ultramarathon, Run Rabbit Run in Steamboat Springs, CO. However, this year is different as I am running for my buddy Ellis.
Ellis is the 11 year old son of my good friend David McDaniel. Ellis is a funny, bright, full-of-life kid who loves playing video games and spending time with his brother and sisters. He is also currently fighting osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Ellis has been undergoing regular rounds of chemotherapy treatments and is also scheduled for surgery later this month.
In honor of Ellis, I’ve started a fundraiser benefiting St. Jude, with a goal of raising $10,000 over the next 8 weeks leading up
Thank you all and looking forward to Ellis beating cancer’s ass.
